Wow! Momo's own site publishes no franchise terms: no investment, franchise fee, royalty, area or agreement term. Its current franchise enquiry page (read 25 Oct 2026) carries a 'Franchise Application Form' that only asks applicants to pick an investment band, and its homepage describes growth through company-operated stores and expansion plans. Earlier official and court statements point the other way: a post by co-founder and CEO Sagar Daryani (early 2022) said the company has no franchise model and that all its stores are company-owned and company-operated; the Delhi High Court (20 Oct 2023) recorded the company's case that a website was luring people to become Wow! Momo franchisees 'where no such franchises actually extended by the plaintiff'; and on 9 Nov 2023 it restrained unknown persons running fake franchise websites, noting the company's case that it has no franchisees (SCC Online report). Court records also show one earlier franchisee (an Ernakulam outlet, agreement of 2013) whose dispute went to arbitration. We could not confirm that Wow! Momo is signing new franchise partners today. Treat any person or website quoting a Wow! Momo franchise fee, cost or profit as unverified.

Delhi High Court: fake Wow! Momo franchises sold by an agency and by unknown website operators
In Oct 2023 the court restrained FranchiseByte, which the company says sold fake Wow! Momo franchises, and noted prima facie that no such franchises were being extended by the company. On 9 Nov 2023 it granted a John Doe injunction against websites posing as authorised franchise agents and taking money from applicants. These are interim orders. We do not link the offending sites.

Hyderabad food-safety inspection of a Wow! Momo outlet (Jul 2026)
Cyberabad Municipal Corporation food-safety officers inspected the Wow! Momo Foods outlet at GSM Mall, Madinaguda, and reported a cockroach infestation, expired sauces and paneer, spoiled vegetables and missing test records. They discarded the items and issued an improvement notice, not a closure. Staff hygiene and a displayed FSSAI licence were noted as adequate. One outlet only. The article is dated 29 Jul 2026 and gives the inspection day as 'Tuesday, July 29', which does not match that year's calendar, so the exact inspection date is approximate.

FY24: revenue Rs 470 crore, loss Rs 114 crore (Entrackr)
Entrackr reported consolidated FY24 revenue from operations of Rs 470 crore, up 14% from Rs 413 crore, with the loss flat at about Rs 114 crore. It also noted the company's claim of 630 outlets in 35 cities. FY25 accounts were not found filed.

CRISIL restored the BB+/Stable rating after it had been under 'Issuer Not Cooperating', citing a comfortable capital structure and competition in QSR. It recorded a Rs 59.07 crore loss in FY21. No newer rating was found.
