Ask before you sign

  1. Speak to at least 3 franchisees who have run an outlet for 2+ years and see their actual monthly sales and profit — a franchisor making money doesn't mean its franchisees do.
  2. Get a written, itemised cost breakdown — the brand hasn't published one.
  3. Ask for every upfront payment in writing — deposit, onboarding, equipment or stock — and which parts are refundable.

Our Estimates

FranchiseChuno estimate

Speego Vehicles doesn't publish these, so here is our best read of the market and how we got there. They are our estimates, not the brand's figures — use them to plan, then confirm the real numbers in writing.

  • Investment to start a Speego dealership

    ₹5–10 L*

Speego publishes no investment or dealer terms. Most of the outlay is opening stock: a Morni DLX lists at about ₹1.55 L ex-showroom in Delhi (TrucksDekho, Oct 2026), so 3–5 vehicles at retail is about ₹4.7–7.8 L (a dealer buys below retail, so this leans high), plus roughly ₹1–2 L for showroom branding, spares and working capital. Rent and deposits are extra.

About the Brand

Brand USP

A Delhi e-rickshaw maker selling two brands, Speego and Morni, through dealers it puts at 229+.

HeadquartersEast Punjabi Bagh, Delhi
Speego Vehicles Co Pvt Ltd is a Delhi company, incorporated in Nov 2014, that makes battery e-rickshaws (Speego, Speego DLX, Morni, Morni DLX, Morni M60), an e-cart loader (Speego CR) and an electric auto (Morni DLX Auto). Its second website lists plants at Ghevra (Mundka), Delhi and Asoda near Bahadurgarh, Haryana. Its main website claims 229+ dealers in 22+ states (Oct 2026). Filings show revenue of ₹34.5 Cr and net profit of ₹17.6 L in FY25, down from ₹58.3 Cr and ₹28.7 L in FY24. The partner route is a dealership, not a franchise: a dealer buys vehicles from Speego and resells them. Speego publishes no fee, deposit, dealer margin, minimum order, territory rule or contract term; its FAQ only promises dealership support, training and marketing help. An archived 2023 version of its dealer page shows a registration form open to proprietors, partnerships and companies, asking whether the applicant already sells e-rickshaws. FranchiseChuno estimates ₹5–10 L* to start, mostly opening stock of 3–5 rickshaws (a Morni DLX lists at about ₹1.55 L ex-showroom in Delhi) plus a small showroom, spares and working capital. What to watch: revenue fell 41% in FY25 after three years of growth, and the company's paid-up capital is only ₹1 L. Its claimed network has not grown on paper — its site said 230+ dealers in Aug 2022 and Dec 2023 and says 229+ now — and its two websites disagree on reach (22+ states on one, 25+ states and 'over 25 locations' on the other). The second site still carries placeholder lorem-ipsum text and testimonials we could not verify, and lists a Gmail address. In Jun 2025 a Delhi commercial court passed an ex parte decree against Speego for an unpaid ₹1.65 L exhibition bill after it did not appear. E-rickshaw registration can be blocked locally: in 2023 Speego had to go to the Calcutta High Court to get its vehicles registered in West Bengal. Ask existing dealers about real margins, stock and warranty terms, and service support before committing; the maker's profits say nothing about a dealer's.

Why invest in Speego Vehicles?

- Filings show Speego Vehicles made a net profit every year from FY19 to FY25 (₹17.6 L in FY25 on revenue of ₹34.5 Cr) — maker's figures, not dealer earnings - The 'SPEEGO' mark is registered to the company for electric rickshaws and e-carts (Class 12), valid to Dec 2034 - Speego's range covers passenger e-rickshaws, an e-cart loader and an electric auto, with plants it lists in Delhi and Bahadurgarh
