Powerpack Electricals Franchise

Home Improvement & BuildingEst. 1972New Delhi, Delhi

Delhi geyser and fan brand appointing distributors at ₹2–5 L working capital. No distributor network found; 1997 company lost ₹69 L in FY25.

About This Listing

Warning: Powerpack appoints distributors but we could not find a single distributor or dealer it supplies. Its store locator's 3 entries (labelled Bihar, Noida and Bareilly) all show the Kirti Nagar, New Delhi factory address and the head-office phone, and the page is unchanged in Wayback copies from Sep 2022 to May 2026. The 1997 company that carries the name reported a net loss every year FY19–FY25 (FY25: ₹48 L revenue, ₹69 L loss, per MCA filings via Tracxn), its distributor page carried a Rajkot flour-mill maker's text until at least May 2025, and its current brochure names a different entity (Powerpack Appliances LLP, registered Jun 2024), so it is unclear which of the two a distributor signs with. Ask for the legal name of the contracting party and the names and addresses of existing distributors before paying anything.

Ask before you sign

  1. Speak to at least 3 franchisees who have run an outlet for 2+ years and see their actual monthly sales and profit — a franchisor making money doesn't mean its franchisees do.
  2. Ask for every upfront payment in writing — deposit, onboarding, equipment or stock — and which parts are refundable.
  3. Ask exactly how your margin or commission is calculated, when it's paid, and whether the brand can change it.

About the Brand

Brand USP

A Delhi brand, founded in 1972 by its own account, whose range spans replacement heating elements as well as finished geysers and fans.

HeadquartersNew Delhi, Delhi
Powerpack is a Delhi brand of geysers, heating elements, fans, room heaters, coolers, irons, wires and power strips. It says it was founded in 1972, its brochure names Sukhdev Singh Rayat as founder, and its About page names Rayat Electricals and Decent Electricals (from 1992) as group makers. Two registered entities carry the name. Powerpack Electricals (India) Pvt Ltd, incorporated in 1997 and run by directors Kirandeep Singh Rayat and Narinder Singh, is small and loss-making: filings show FY25 revenue of ₹48 L, down 65%, and a ₹69 L net loss; it last reported a profit in FY18 (₹78 L on ₹3.8 Cr revenue). Powerpack Appliances LLP, registered in Jun 2024 and named on the brand's current brochure, reported FY25 revenue of ₹1.08 Cr and a ₹2.1 L profit. The POWER PACK word marks are registered to Rayat Electricals, a group firm, not to either entity. Powerpack appoints distributors, not franchisees. Its distributor page asks for ₹2–5 L of investment capacity as initial working capital and at least 100 sq ft of storage space. Prior distribution or retail experience is preferred, and a distributor is expected to build a local dealer network. Powerpack says it offers training, product knowledge and marketing help, and calls its margins healthy, but it publishes no margin, fee, target, territory or agreement terms. It lists expansion regions in all four zones of India. What to watch: the 1997 company has reported a net loss in every year from FY19 to FY25, and its revenue has shrunk to under ₹50 L. It is unclear which of the two entities a distributor signs with: the distributor page names no legal entity, and the brochure names only the LLP. Until mid-2025 the distributor page carried text about a Rajkot flour-mill maker. We could not evidence any distributor network: its store locator's 3 entries all repeat the Delhi factory address, its site and 38-page brochure name no distributor or dealer, and web searches turned up only its own Delhi addresses. We found no independent press coverage. Before you commit, get the legal name of the party you would contract with and the names and addresses of existing distributors, and check margins and payment terms with them directly.
