MFins Services Franchise

Home Improvement & BuildingEst. 2011Malad West, Mumbai, Maharashtra

Mumbai solar and fintech partner network; fees unpublished, est. ₹1.8–5.5 L*; buyers allege non-delivery. Read the warnings first.

About This Listing

Read this before you pay MFins anything. MFins Services is a real, registered company — Active and compliant at the registrar, with filed FY25 revenue of ₹14.5 Cr and a profit of ₹72 L — but its partner offer carries serious warning signs. • No income promise on its own site: MFins' solar site (Oct 2026) says 'Is income guaranteed? No.' An older post on the same site (May 2024) pitched its solar franchise as 'Low Investment, High Returns' around the PM Surya Ghar subsidy. • Paid partner slots, alleged non-delivery: on the Consumer Court Advisor forum (posts from Mar 2025 to Mar 2026) five buyers allege they paid MFins — mostly for partner slots — and got no business, material or refund: ₹3.06 L for a Telangana master distributorship, ₹1 L for a Srinagar distributorship (Mar 2024), ₹80,000 and ₹1.2 L by two others, and ₹84,960 for a solar franchise in Bihar (Sep 2025) sold around the PM Surya Ghar subsidy. These are allegations; none has been decided by a court. • Alleged unauthorised tie-ups: the complaints allege MFins promised an Ekart delivery partnership that Ekart denied, and sold bank-branded 'mini ATM' points (Yes Bank, Bank of Baroda, PNB, SBI) without the banks' authorisation. MFins' own 2022 pages offered to make partners a 'CSP of Yes Bank' and a 'Banking Point of NSDL'; we found no bank or NSDL confirmation. • Its Android app (com.mfins), still linked from its site, is no longer on Google Play (checked 3 Oct 2026). • MFins' response (8 Sep 2025) calls the 'fraud' posts defamation and extortion by a fake Instagram account and says it filed a Cyber Cell complaint. It does not address the buyers' refund claims. Before paying: get the fee, its refund terms, exactly what you receive and any bank, courier or subsidy tie-up in a signed agreement, and confirm each tie-up with the bank, courier or scheme portal itself.

Ways to Partner with MFins Services

4 partner models published by the brand. Figures it doesn't publish are left blank.

Distributorship

Distributor (solar)

Royalty / margin
Not published.
Who it suits
Electrical shops, inverter and battery dealers, hardware businesses, local sales professionals and people with a customer network (MFins Solar's own list).

MFins calls this its 'basic entry model' for local solar sales; sold with or without its 'Mfins Digital AI' tool. No fee is published. One buyer says he paid ₹84,960 for a 'solar franchise' in Sep 2025, without naming the model (forum complaint, alleged).

Master franchise

Master Distributor (solar)

Royalty / margin
Not published. A buyer says he was told master distributors earn 2% on business from district distributors they appoint and a 30% commission linked to pin-code retailer slots — his wording is unclear (forum complaint, Mar 2025, alleged).
Who it suits
Experienced business owners, regional distributors, contractors and agencies with a team or network.

A regional model that 'can support local sellers'. A Telangana buyer alleges he paid ₹3.06 L for a state master distributorship and was told to sell district distributorships at ₹1.35 L and pin-code retailer slots at ₹67,000 each — income from recruiting, not only from customers.

Unit franchise

Channel Partner Franchise (solar)

Royalty / margin
Not published.
Who it suits
Entrepreneurs who want to run solar as their main business.

MFins' 'premium' model with 'structured partner onboarding'; no fee, territory or term published.

Partner model

Agent / distributor (assisted-services portal)

Royalty / margin
Commission per transaction (its site has an income calculator but publishes no rates).
Who it suits
Shopkeepers, retailers, students, home-makers, professionals and insurance agents with a PC or laptop and internet (its 'Why choose us' page).

The older m-fins.in line: AEPS, bill payments (BBPS), micro ATM, recharges, rail, bus and flight tickets and e-commerce vouchers through agents, distributors and master distributors. The page says the opposite of a fee ('You do need any investment', apparently meaning 'don't'), yet buyers allege they paid ₹80,000–3.06 L for distributor slots on this line.

Our Estimates

MFins Services doesn't publish these, so here is our best read of the market and how we got there. They are our estimates, not the brand's figures — use them to plan, then confirm the real numbers in writing.

  • All-in cost of a solar distributor or master-distributor set-up

    ₹1.8–5.5 L*

MFins publishes no fee or investment and says it is 'discussed after enquiry'. Our build-up: slot fee as buyers report paying it — about ₹85,000–1.2 L for a distributor or solar franchise, ₹3.06 L for a master distributor (forum complaints, unverified); a small office or counter (100–250 sq ft) fit-out and signage ₹25,000–75,000; laptop, printer and phone ₹30,000–60,000; about three months of running costs (one staff, travel, local marketing) ₹45,000–1,00,000. Distributor total about ₹1.85–3.55 L; master distributor about ₹4.1–5.4 L. Rounded to ₹1.8–5.5 L. Excludes rent deposit and any solar stock; the Digital AI add-on would cost extra.

He says Malad police in Mumbai would not take his complaint and that he complained to Medipally police station and the Rachakonda police commissionerate in Telangana; he gives no FIR number and we found no record of a case. About the Brand

Brand USP

A Mumbai company selling distributor and franchise slots for rooftop solar and EV charging, alongside an older assisted-fintech and travel-booking agent network.

HeadquartersMalad West, Mumbai, Maharashtra
MFins Services Pvt Ltd is a Mumbai company, registered in August 2011, that recruits agents, distributors and 'master distributors'. Its older line, on m-fins.in, is an assisted-services portal: Aadhaar cash withdrawal (AEPS), bill payments, recharges, rail, bus and flight tickets and e-commerce vouchers sold through local shops. Since about 2023 it has pushed rooftop solar and EV charging under the name MFins Solar, where it says it designs and installs systems. It claims 700+ distributors and 15,000+ agents on its About page and 20,000+ franchise partners in a paid press release (Feb 2026); Tracxn records 7 employees (May 2026). Filings show revenue of ₹14.5 Cr and a net profit of ₹72 L in FY25, up from ₹1.2 Cr in FY21. The current offer is three solar models: Distributor (its 'basic entry' model), Master Distributor (a regional model that recruits local sellers) and Channel Partner Franchise (its 'premium' model), each optionally sold with its 'Mfins Digital AI' lead-management tool. MFins publishes no fee, investment, commission, territory or contract term; it says these are discussed after an enquiry. Buyers who posted complaints say they paid ₹84,960 (which works out to ₹72,000 plus 18% GST) for a solar franchise and ₹1–3.06 L for distributor and master-distributor slots. FranchiseChuno's estimate for a distributor or master-distributor set-up — built partly on those buyer-reported, unverified payments, plus a small office, equipment and three months' running costs — is ₹1.8–5.5 L*. Its own solar site says income is not guaranteed. What to watch: read the warning box above. Five buyers allege on a consumer forum that they paid MFins and got nothing back, and two of them allege MFins claimed courier and bank tie-ups it did not have; MFins calls the fraud posts defamation by a fake account. A master distributor earns by selling district and pin-code slots to others, so check that your income would come from customers, not from recruiting. Its app is gone from Google Play, there is no outlet locator, and one testimonial on its homepage refers to 'my experience with TruBlue', another company's name. The m-fins.in website terms say fees are non-refundable with 'no exceptions'. We found no court judgment involving the company on Indian Kanoon.

Why invest in MFins Services?

- Filings show revenue rose every year from ₹1.2 Cr in FY21 to ₹14.5 Cr in FY25, with a net profit each year (₹72 L in FY25) — company figures, not partner earnings. - The company has been registered since Aug 2011, is Active and compliant at the registrar, and held its last AGM on 30 Sep 2025. - Its 'Mfins Services' name is a registered trademark (class 35), and its solar site offers distributor, master-distributor and channel-partner models for on-grid, off-grid and hybrid solar.
