  1. Speak to at least 3 franchisees who have run an outlet for 2+ years and see their actual monthly sales and profit — a franchisor making money doesn't mean its franchisees do.
  2. Get a written, itemised cost breakdown — the brand hasn't published one.
  3. Ask for the one-time franchise fee in writing, and whether any part is refundable.

  • All-in cost of a small courier counter

    ₹1–3 L*

Shree Tirupati Courier publishes no investment and calls its start-up costs low; a 2005 franchise needed a ₹10,000 deposit (court record). Our build-up for a small counter today: deposit and onboarding about ₹10,000–50,000, counter fit-out and signage about ₹30,000–80,000, computer, barcode printer and weighing scale about ₹40,000–70,000, and two to three months of running costs (staff, power, internet, local delivery) about ₹20,000–1,00,000. Excludes the shop's rent deposit.

About the Brand

Brand USP

A Rajkot courier network whose own centre search shows about 1,550 distinct centres (our estimate, Oct 2026); nearly every one we looked up is a 'satellite point' run by a local business.

HeadquartersRajkot, Gujarat
Shree Tirupati Courier Services is a Rajkot-based domestic courier company, incorporated in April 2003, that books and delivers documents and parcels through a network of counters across India. Its history page lists distribution contracts with banks, insurers and telecom firms in Gujarat between 2004 and 2014; its site claims 1,500 centres in 21 states, a figure it has not updated since 2016. Its centre list carried about 1,919 names when we counted in Oct 2026 (up from about 692 in Apr 2016), but our lookups show roughly one in five is a delivery area served from another centre, so we estimate about 1,550 distinct centres. Filings show revenue of ₹118.7 Cr and net profit of ₹4.5 Cr in FY25; FY21 was a loss year (₹62.6 L) on revenue that fell about 20%. The franchise offer is a local counter that collects and delivers parcels in an area the brand describes as exclusive. Shree Tirupati Courier doesn't publish its investment, fee, commission or contract term; its franchise page only promises low start-up costs, a 'perpetual' agreement and a 'guaranteed income package' with an unexplained asterisk — a brand claim with no amount or conditions. Delhi court records show a ₹10,000 security deposit for a franchise appointed in 2005 without a written agreement. FranchiseChuno estimates the all-in cost of a small counter at ₹1–3 L*, excluding the shop's rent deposit. What to watch: no published terms of any kind, so ask for the written agreement, the commission per booking and delivery, what the 'guaranteed income' actually guarantees, and the deposit-refund terms. A former Delhi franchisee sued in 2010 to recover his deposit; the trial court dismissed the suit as time-barred, but an appeal court set that aside in Aug 2011 and sent it back for trial, and we found no final ruling. Customer ratings are poor (about 1.2/5 on MouthShut across some 1,940 ratings in Aug 2026, and 3.3/5 from about 1,260 Google Play reviews, with repeated 2026 complaints about delays, inaccurate tracking and rude delivery staff), which affects counter footfall. Its Oct 2024–Mar 2025 MSME filing shows 58 small supplier payments (₹52,850) outstanding beyond 45 days. Talk to existing centre owners about real monthly earnings before signing.

Why invest in Shree Tirupati Courier Service?

- Filings show revenue of ₹118.7 Cr and a net profit of ₹4.5 Cr in FY25, up from ₹47.8 Cr in FY20 after a dip to ₹38.5 Cr and a ₹62.6 L loss in FY21 (franchisor figures, not outlet earnings). - Names on its own centre list grew from about 692 in Apr 2016 to about 1,919 in Oct 2026 (our count; roughly one in five is a delivery area served from another centre). - The company is Active and compliant at the registrar, with its last AGM held on 30 Sep 2025.
