About the Brand

Brand USP

Its franchisees run French, Spanish and English clubs for children aged 3–11 in UK schools, nurseries and local venues, using LCF's own lesson plans and online games.

HeadquartersHatton, Warwickshire, United Kingdom
Fun Languages, known until 2026 as LCF Clubs, is a UK franchisor of language clubs for children. It started in Hampshire in 1985 as Le Club Français, and its franchisees now run French, Spanish and English clubs, plus 'Fun Explorers' culture clubs, for children aged 3–11 in schools, nurseries and local venues. The new name came with a new website in 2026; the company behind it, LCF (UK) Ltd, has been registered since 1991 and is active. LCF says it has over 5,000 language centres across the UK and abroad and that it operates in Europe, South America and Australasia, but it publishes no outlet list or country names. It has no clubs, franchisees or registered company in India. Outside the UK it offers country master franchises: the master sells franchises in its territory and earns from franchise sales, a monthly franchise service fee from franchisees, yearly student enrolments and commission on LCF Online subscriptions. LCF provides its teaching programmes, training in the UK and locally, marketing material and on-site help with the first franchise-sales interviews. It publishes no master-franchise fee or investment; our ₹20–30 L figure is only a rough FranchiseChuno estimate. In the UK, a single franchise costs £1,980 to start, the brand says. What to watch: this is not a single-club opportunity for an Indian investor. The master-franchise offer sits on LCF's older website, where its text has not changed since at least 2018 and still cites '25 years' of experience; it isn't repeated on the new Fun Languages site, so check that it is still current. The 5,000-centre claim can't be checked. LCF (UK) Ltd files micro-company accounts, which show no revenue or profit; its accounts to Jun 2025 report an average of one employee and net assets of about £1.2 million, mostly fixed assets, and two older bank charges are still registered. LCF teaches French and Spanish mainly to English-speaking children; its fit with Indian schools and parents is untested.
