About This Listing
Warnings, Oct 2026: (1) Foster Kids does not name the company you would sign with. FranchiseChuno deduces it is IHT Network Ltd (same directors as Foster Kids' CEO and operations head, same Tri Nagar locality, a 2019 court record addressing IHT at a Foster Kids campus, and the 'Foster Kids' trademark held by IHT's director at IHT's former Azadpur address); IHT made a ₹1.67 Cr loss on ₹1.41 Cr revenue in FY24 (filings via Tracxn). (2) In a suit by a franchisee of IHT's earlier computer-hardware training franchise, the Delhi High Court (RFA 835/2016, 8 Jun 2023) ordered IHT Network to pay ₹13.09 L plus 12% interest, including a franchise-fee refund; the Supreme Court dismissed the franchisee's appeal for more on 15 Jul 2024. (3) NSDC arbitration over a 2019 loan is pending (Delhi High Court order, Jul 2025). (4) The site promises 'warranty for the profit' and break-even within a year without figures. (5) It claims 400+ centres; its own list shows 91. (6) The 'Foster Kids' trademark is registered to Umesh Chand Chaudhary personally, not to IHT, and third parties have since filed similar names.

A small preschool of roughly 1,000–2,000 sq ft usually also needs child-safe interiors, furniture and play equipment beyond a basic kit (₹2–5 L more), a rent deposit of 3–6 months on ₹25,000–50,000 a month (₹0.75–3 L), learning kits and uniforms for the first batch (₹0.5–1 L) and six months of teacher and helper salaries while admissions build (₹1.5–3 L).

What Foster Kids Says You Can Earn
Brand claimFoster Kids's own claim — no evidence given. These are not FranchiseChuno's estimates or a promise of earnings; ask existing franchisees what they actually make.
- PaybackMonths until cumulative profit equals what you invested.
- 12 months
Foster Kids' FAQ says that, with no royalty, 'Most franchisees reach their break-even with a year', linking break-even to recovering the initial investment — read here as a payback claim of up to 12 months. It gives no sample size, sales or profit figures. A separate 'Warranty of Success' page speaks of 'warranty for the profit', which no franchisor can guarantee.

Delhi High Court decree of ₹13.1 L for a franchisee of IHT's earlier computer-training franchise (2023)
A franchisee of IHT Network's computer-hardware training franchise (2008, not a Foster Kids preschool) sued it. The court found IHT had not specifically denied the alleged breaches, so they were taken as admitted, and ordered it to refund the franchise fee and start-up costs and pay losses — ₹13.09 L plus 12% interest, cut from the trial court's ₹19.12 L. The Supreme Court declined the franchisee's plea for more in Jul 2024.
